July is flying by

Wow... can't believe that July is halfway over. That makes me happy. This deployment is flying by. I love it.
This week has been pretty busy. Jody, Jeff and Madisyn are in FL for a visit which has been awesome. I have been spending some time with a friend that needed it and come tomorrow I am getting a houseguest for the weekend, Bentley the cockalier. It should be fun. I am looking forward to having a dog again for a little bit. I miss my little man.
Oh and there are officially 99 days till A's due date! I am so excited about that. I bought my plane ticket to go home for my shower yesterday. Everything is falling into place. Sunday I am going to go to Jack's grandparents to visit a bit and talk about the FL shower. Plans are coming along for that shower as well. A is one lucky little lady. I am super excited about that.

So now on to the pictures of the day. I am doing better about taking good pictures. Last deployment it was a lot of pictures of the cats. This deployment I am actually doing fun things, somewhat, so there are better pictures.

Ten on Tuesday

Yep its Tuesday. Time for a ten on Tuesday post. Pictures will come later.

1. I got to see my neice Madisyn the other day. She has gotten so big. It amazes me.

2. Speaking of Maddie, I get to spend the whole day with her Saturday and my sister too. Pretty excited about that.

3. Driving on Disney property is confusing. That's all.

4. Hospitals on Saturday nights after an 80's themed pub crawl are highly entertaining. While I feel bad for the hurt people, the drunk people were very funny while I waited for a friend.

5. 100 days till A's due date!! Time is flying by!

6. Kobe likes people somewhat. I am not sure what brought on this change, but I am certainly not complaining.

7. My apartment's policy of picking up your garbage from outside your door is amazing.

8. Sometimes people have different work ethics. It can drive me nuts but I just do what I have to do.

9. I am finding it more fun to decorate the inside of Jack's package as opposed to the outside of the box. It keeps me occupied.

10. Baby Shower plans are in full swing. I am super excited.

So yep thats my quick 10 on Tuesday post. Hope everyone is having a good week!!

Busy Busy Busy

So this is a crazy busy week for me. And by crazy busy, I mean crazy busy.
Just a few of the things that I need to get done:
A huge project for work - that involves me staying the night in Tampa from tomorrow until Thursday
Bloodwork for the baby
Work on plans for FL baby shower for my sister
Work on Jack's 2nd package
Today I contacted a ton of different places we needed to get a hold of in order to get stuff together
Oh and in between all this I am working on growing a baby, keeping a house clean and keeping a very anti social cat somewhat happy that I live in the same apartment as him. haha.

Best part of this week is by far the fact that my sister and niece will be here at the end of the week. So excited. It amazes me that my niece is going to be 9. Seriously when did she get so big. She was supposed to be little forever. I think someone forgot to tell her that.

Okay on to the pictures of the day:

Day 17- Saturday June 9th

Presents from the Middle East - I am spoiled

Day 18 - Sunday June 10th

Craft Day- Kobe is oh so helpful in creating packages...Silly Cat

Day 19- Monday July 19th

My "Office". I love being able to work from home. And yes I wear sweats and a t-shirt when I am working from home. I don't think people care much what I am wearing then and its comfy.

Oh and I got to wake up today talking to Jack. Yep! Great way to start a Monday or anyday. I am pretty lucky.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

JMS- we love you and miss you. Thinking of you always!!

18.4 %

Yup! You read that right. We are 18.4 % done with this deployment! Woo Hoo! Time is flying by. I get excited everytime the percentage goes up.

Today was busy. I had an appointment with my new doctor. The joys of switching insurance in the middle of the pregnancy. The positive is that Aubrey is right on track and this doctor will also allow us to Skype the birth. That being said Jack will be able to watch his daughter being born. I am excited about that.

Tonight is my much awaited taco and movie night with my neighbor. Yeah! Should be fun. And tomorrow we are having a craft day. I know it sounds nerdy but we are excited. The little things that keep me going during deployment.

Oh and the fact that my sister is planning an awesome baby shower. I am so excited about it. And she will be the host of my shower here in FL too. I am getting more and more excited about Aubrey's arrival. I have to call to make an appointment to tour the hospital soon. I am 6 months pregnant already. Crazy huh?

Now on to the pictures of the day...

Day 13 - Tuesday July 5th

Spoiled kitty and his favorite toy

Day 14 - Wednesday July 6th

Starting Aubrey's stash of diapers

Day 15 - Thursday July 7th
Super moto truck on the way to Tampa. I had to take a picture

2nd picture for Thursday
24 weeks! 6 Months Pregnant.

Day 16 - Friday July 8th
Kobe finds the most interesting places to hide. Weird Cat.

Hope all is well with everyone and that everyone had a good week.

Ten on Tuesday

So its Tuesday and I updated the blog yesterday and I am posting again today. Woo hoo! I am finally becoming a blogger. haha. So I am doing a 10 on Tuesday post. Here goes.

1. Aubrey is an active little girl. She likes to kick... alot... especially at night. Thanks baby girl.

2. Work is super busy right now. I am loving it. It keeps me occupied and not missing Jack as much. Well at least during the day when I am busy.

3. I celebrated the 4th with the Bylers. They are awesome and I love that Morgan and her mother in law had amazing food. A pregnant woman's dream.

4. My sister is an amazing party planner. Seriously Jody could make a business of it. She is awesome.

5. Kobe is quite the spoiled cat. I swear. But if he brings that feather wand to bed one more time I might scream. That thing will startle you in the middle of the night.

6. Deployment food is interesting. I cook the most random meals. The other day I wanted instant mashed potatoes and a hot dog. So thats what I ate. I am not sure if it is the pregnancy or the deployment. But I eat weird.

7. My neighbor is awesome and pretty much predicted what I was craving this week. She invited me over for tacos on Friday. yum yum.

8. I am not sure about laying out and getting color this summer. Out of the 5 or 6 bathing suits I own I don't feel like any of them fit. For that matter I feel like nothing I own fits me. Its kind of annoying.

9. My husband always knows how to make me smile. Its something that makes me fall more and more in love with him everyday.

10. Netflix is addicting. Just putting that out there. It was an amazing investment.

So thats my 10 on Tuesday for the week.
Hope all is well with everyone.

JMS- I miss you lots and love you tons!!!
Stay safe my heart.

Moving Along...

16.7 % done with this deployment. Thats pretty good. I am excited. Things have been moving along.
Today was the 4th of July. I spent it with my favorite family other than my own, the Bylers. They are like family anyways. I have been there for both of their kids first fourths. And it has been a blast. They really make me feel like I am a part of the family and that means a lot to me. Plus Jack and I are their youngest child's godparents and Adam is Aubrey's godfather. So they are family.

Anyway.. on to the pictures.

Day 8 - Thursday June 30th

Belly Picture - 23 weeks pregnant

Day 9 -Friday July 1st

A new month on the calendar... getting through this deployment one day at a time

Day 10 - Saturday July 2nd

Spoiled Kitty and all his toys. Silly Kobe. He brings that feather wand thing to bed every night. Its a treat... let me tell you.

Day 11 - Sunday July 3rd

Now that Daddy has seen them... Aubrey's latest picture. She isn't shy about announcing she is a girl

Day 12 - Monday July 4th

Miss Adalynn's 1st 4th. I have more pictures but this one is too cute not to use as the picture of the day.

Hope everyone had a great holiday with their family and friends. Remember that we live in the land of the free.. because of the brave.

Missing my hero today and everyday, but so thankful to have him to miss. So thankful he is brave enough to fight for us. I just think that imagine what he does for people he doesn't even know, imagine what he would do for me and Aubrey. I am proud my husband fights for what he loves, his country and his family.

JMS - ilu and I am so proud of you. Stay Safe.
